Frequently Asked Questions

What style of wedding film do you produce?

I shoot and edit documentary-style(long-form) wedding films. This means that the day’s events are recorded as they happen, and often include events that the bride and/or groom were unable to see on their wedding day. My particular style includes elements of “cinematic” wedding videos, however, I work unobtrusively – your wedding day will not turn into a movie set!

Are you experienced?

I have more than twelve years of experience producing hundreds of wedding videos for happy couples throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and even several in New York.

Are you licensed and insured?

I have a South Carolina retail license and business liability insurance in the amount of $2,000,000, which is often required by wedding venues to protect their personal property in the event of damage from the vendors that work on their property. Details are available upon request.

Is a deposit required to reserve my wedding date?

A non-refundable retainer of $349 is required at the time of securing a service agreement and reserving your wedding date. The remainder of the balance is due 30 days prior to the wedding.

Who will record and edit my wedding?

Your wedding will be recorded and edited by me, Dennis Duszynski. I will occasionally bring a qualified assistant to help me on your wedding day. I do not contract out work to other people or companies under any circumstances.

Do you have any time restrictions?

Absolutely not! I will arrive at your wedding site when you do (for Package 3 or 4), and leave the reception site when you leave (for Packages 2, 3 or 4). The day is yours! See my packages and prices for more details.

How many cameras will cover my wedding ceremony?

All of my wedding packages include a minimum of two camera coverage during the ceremony and a single camera during the reception. Depending on the wedding site, I may use up to four cameras to discreetly cover the wedding ceremony and/or a second camera at the reception.

Will my wedding be recorded in high definition?

I use high definition cameras for all of my weddings. You will receive copies of your wedding film on three different forms of media – one dvd (standard definition), one blu-ray disc (high definition), and one USB flash drive (high definition).

How long will my wedding video be, and when will I receive it?

All weddings are different, but in general, you should expect your completed documentary-style video including the complete ceremony and all of the reception festivities to be between 60 and 90 minutes long.
If you purchase Package 3 or 4 you will also receive a 3-5  minute music video-styled highlight reel/trailer, perfect for sharing online via social media, featuring highlights from your wedding day set to licensed and copyright-legal music.

It generally takes 4-6 weeks to edit and mail your completed wedding film.
